Pet Safe Gardening

With warmer weather around the corner, many people start thinking about gardening. What most people don’t consider is how to keep their pet safe in the garden! From chemicals to plants to seemingly benign products like mulch, there are dangers for our furry family members. The team here at Schuylkill Veterinary Hospital wants you to be informed of measures to keep your pets safe!

On Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 7:30pm, we will sponsor a seminar entitled Pet Safe Gardening at the Canine Learning Center. The presenter is Schuylkill County native, Tim Hill of Season’s Art Landscape Design in Orwigsburg. This free seminar is aimed for the general pet owning public, but also counts toward advanced education for Master Gardeners. Interested parties may call the hospital at 622-1098 to reserve a seat.
