National Pet Dental Health Month

It’s February and that means it is once again National Pet Dental Health Month! Time to pay attention to this important aspect of your pet’s health. Most pets have some form of dental disease by the time they are three or four years old. Dental disease causes pain and contributes to problems in other areas of the body like the heart. You can help prevent this by regular brushing of your cat or dog’s teeth along with professional care performed by your veterinarian. It is far better, and less expensive, to prevent problems than it is to treat them! During the month of February, Schuylkill Veterinary Hospital is offering a free fluoride treatment with every dental procedure. Our trained team will also discuss maintenance care at home after the procedure; dental products to go home with your pet will be 10 % off!  And, to top it off, your pet will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a great prize! In addition, you may enter your pet in our Facebook Bright Smile contest by uploading your pet’s picture on our Facebook page. Your dog or cat’s name will be entered in another drawing for a prize. This is limited to Schuylkill County pets only.
